Hello world!

🎮 Welcome to Bark No Byte: Where Creativity Gets Loud

Hey there!

We’re excited to finally pull back the curtain a bit on what we’ve been working on at Bark No Byte, a small indie studio with big ambitions. Whether you’ve stumbled across our games, our website, or just the name that made you do a double-take—welcome! We’re glad you’re here.

Who We Are

Bark No Byte was founded by Noah, a developer with a passion for storytelling, visual design, and building experiences that stick with you. What started as a personal creative outlet has grown into a home for original games, stylized art, and playful experimentation. From solo work to small team collaborations, everything we do is fueled by curiosity and community.

What We’re Building

You might have heard about Larry and the Lumberjacks, our open-world lumber-mill brawler about turning the tables on the competition with grit, sawdust, and some strategic upgrades. Or maybe you’re more into fast-paced action—then Dungeon Drifters might be your speed: an arcade-style fantasy runner where you drift through monster-filled dungeons to deliver supplies as a plucky gnome merchant.

We’re not trying to make the biggest games—we’re trying to make memorable ones. Games with charm, purpose, and personality.

Why We’re Here

This blog is a space for sharing updates, art, behind-the-scenes stories, and occasional rambles from the dev trenches. We’ll talk about everything from concept sketches and mechanics breakdowns to the weird bugs we secretly liked before fixing them.

Whether you’re a fellow developer, a fan of indie games, or just someone curious about how all this comes together, we hope you’ll find something worth following here.

Thanks for stopping by. There’s much more to come.
